Dried meat baits provide another tool for wild dog and fox management in Australia and are available in most states and territories. The baits are made from sustainably harvested, overabundant kangaroos in Western Australia. The baits contain 3mg of 1080 for the fox strength baits and 6mg of 1080 for the wild dog strength baits.
The dried meat baits are being produced to meet the increasing demand for management tools to control wild dogs and foxes, and are approved for ground and aerial baiting programs.
